SymbolDex may process information you voluntarily provide when contacting us by email, such as your email address, your name if you include it and the contents of your message.
The server and technical services required to operate and secure the website may also record technical data such as IP address, access date and time, browser, operating system, requested URL and security events.
3. Purposes and legal bases
- Responding to enquiries and communications: to answer messages you choose to send. The legal basis is your consent when voluntarily initiating the communication and, where applicable, steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract.
- Website security and technical operation: to prevent abuse, fraud, attacks and technical failures. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in keeping the website secure and operational.
- Legal compliance: where processing is required by an applicable legal obligation.
